Rob is a Maryland native with an undergraduate degree in history from Towson University and a J.D. from Georgetown University. Rob has worked in the legal field since becoming a paralegal in 1998 and then attended law school at night. While at Georgetown, he received an award in mock trial.
Most of Rob’s work has been in debtor-creditor and bankruptcy law. His paralegal work was in collections and he has worked since 2007 as a consumer bankruptcy attorney. He filed approximately five hundred Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases from June 2007 before joining the firm. Rob has also filed Chapter 11 petitions, filed complaints for FDCPA violations, and represented clients in adversary proceedings. Rob joined Discepolo, LLP in February, 2012 and he represents the firm’s bankruptcy clients.
Rob is a member of the Maryland Bar and is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for Maryland and Washington D.C. He is a member of ACA International, the Prince George’s County Bar Association, and the Maryland Bankruptcy Bar Association. Rob has represented debtors, creditors, and criminal defendants before every trial court in the State of Maryland.
